To be absolutely certain of clear roads in March, you might consider going via
Panama. Should you decide to travel via 84 & 80, you might consider hanging a
right at Mt. Home, ID, and reaching 80 at Elko. I'll take you out to dinner.

Subject: [Spridgets] No LBC - Road conditions
I will be driving an unfamiliar motor home from Seattle to NY in a month or
maybe a little sooner. I definitely do not want to encounter snowy/icy roads.
How far south do I have to go to find clear roads late in March? Will Grants
Pass be clear? Can I make it on Route 84 to 80 across, or is that too far
north? Will the Chicago area be clear then?
Alternatively, when should I go to be sure of clear roads on Route 80?
Thanks,
Michael Rowe
