I just talked to my local marina guy who said that all large metropolitan 
areas were long ago mandated to sell only ethanol gas.  But in areas with 
low population densities, there is no mandate, so suppliers have 
ethanol-free gas there, although all stations may not buy it.  And sometimes 
you can get it in fringe areas between high and low density regions.  If you 
live close to open farm land, forests, etc., check it out.
