It's slow.. real slow. It speeds up with movement, get an aquarium
pump to circulate the stuff, that helps a lot. Plan on hours, dump
rusty bits in, walk away, check the next day.
Oh yeah, it goes from opaque to nasty brown looking but it still
works. Lastly, it is probably some form of molasses. No really, look
up molasses and rust removal. Seems like the same deal only a LOT
cheaper.
