In 1968 the Donald Healey Motor Company 'Works Sprite' at LeMans and a
second car at Sebring were fitted with a down draught, cross flow head
and Lucas mechanical fuel injection similar to the F.1 and Canam cars.
Look for the photos of HNX456D with the big engine cover bulge.
Fuel injection was also on the Works rally Minis for 1968 and later
private entry circuit cars.
