[Spridgets] Speakers From the 70's

I bought my (heavy) Kenwood speakers in 1975 while in SE Asia.
ABout 3ft high and about 2 ft square. Wooden fretwork fronts.

Is it my imagination, or are they sounding better as the cones age ??
(I'm also aging!)
