In rural areas a good number of vehicles run on various gases such as butane, propane, LNG. Granted they aren't perfectly safe but they don't seem to be overly dangerous. OTOH I would make an uneducated guess that Hydrogen would be harder to deal with in an automobile. > Hydrogen does make the most sense for the internal combustion engine, I > agree.
