Why are you looking to swap motors? If it is for more power the least work is a
1275 upgrade. If you are concerned about getting 948 parts don't worry, there
are many parts available.

does one determine if there is damage to the block if its not obvious?
Is there a video showing how to remove the motor and transmission?What
