Hey, wait a minute! I have a Maytag dishwasher AND I drive a freight train.
I can tell you the freight train IS louder.

David,

We are still using our 1988 American made, Maytag dishwasher as well, it cost
$700.00 back in the day, it is as loud a freight train when running, the only
money I have spent on this machine in 23 years was for a new door seal,
$50.00. I have a friend who has been an appliance repairman for over 25 years,
I asked what is good to buy? His reply, buy whatever you like, its all junk,
it won't last.
