Hello All;
I'm new to the list but not new to LBC's. I have a Bug-eye but that's another
story. Recently had seats done for my big Healey. One thing to look out for
is the foams that you can buy. They are way too dense. You don't settle down
in them at all, you sit on top of them. I had to have 2" cut off my Healey
foams just so my head wasn't against the top. They're still too stiff. If
you buy them I suggest you put them on the floor and sit on them. The
upholsterer told me he could cut the center bottom out of them and replace it
with softer foam. I bought my upholstery from Sports and Classics (e-bay). I
saved a lot of money but had to do a lot of work to make it fit. Depends on
what you want. I think it turned out good.
