After my car was in an accident, I refused to let them total my car. The
insurance company ordered an independant appraisal. The owner of the
appraisal company used to work for British Leyland in the fixed opperations
division (Parts and Service). He took a look at the pictures and was able
to tell me just about everything I had done. Three days later, the
insurance company called me and said that the car appraised for $15,000. I
got my check and fixed my car.
