Vigil, et al,
You can use that starter on the Morris with a stock gearbox, but not
with 5 speed kit installed. The Isuzu starter, positioned in the stock
Datsun position will hit the frame, so you need the GR with the
adjustable mounting flange.
The Isuzu starter in a Spridget will need the footwell modified to
clear the solenoid because, as you will see in the picture, the
solenoid is perpendicular mounting holes and sticks out too far..
