I'm sure you could cobble something together from a UPullIt yard for
pretty cheap.
I'd also add that for the price and headache of making something work
in a Spridget you might think about getting a Miata. Drive the
Spridget when weather permits and drive the Miata when it is too hot.
A Miata is like an MGB with A/C that doesn't break down.
The A/C power loss on a Spridget would surely be noticeable.
