Jess,
Is there a vocational/technical school near you? If so, stop in and
ask if they have night courses in engine rebuilding. Or, (if they
teach engine rebuilding as a daily course) will they make your
rebuild a class project.
You could also check with your local garages and (privately owned)
part stores to see where they take their machine shop work.
