Actually, I'm kind of glad that all of the nasty chemicals from producing
electronic components, plastics, chrome plating etc. have been offshored.
Keeps that crap out of our water and air.
I have a Chinese Scooter I paid $980 for including shipping brand new. Most
of the inexpensive Chinese items I have, I would not otherwise have been
able to buy had it not been for the low price. So there was no job lost if
I wouldn't have bought the scooter at $3000. But at $980, I've put a poor
chinese farm laborer to work. I have two impact guns, two brad nailers, a
miter saw, all chinese, all no problems. None of those tools would I have
bought, given the limited amount of use they see if I had only had higher
priced tools available. PS consider reconditioned. That way, someone else
has found out the problem, returned it, and the company fixes it, then sells
it with a discount. Try CPOoutlets.com online.
