Flipping a fan blade over does not change the airflow direction, it just
makes it less efficient due to the airfoil shape in the blade being "backwards"
An old trick for slow first flights on unthrottled model airplanes was to
turn the prop around. Hold one in your hand and flip it over, you'll see.
