In the late 60's, I was autocrossing a Spridget, took a girl to the races on
our first date, and won for the first time ever. I took the trophy, married
the girl, and never raced again. I still have that trophy somewhere. And
we are still married.
That is the reason I took up Sprigeteering in retirement. It is the only
car I have ever worked on beyond changing oil and light bulbs. And it won
for me in two different arenas.
