Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of a brain freeze here. I need to mount a trailer hitch, and they are using conical washers with the bolts. I should know the answer to this, but which way does the washer need to go? From what I remember, the concave side should face the surface, so the washer will flatten out slightly when the bolt is tightened down. Is that correct? I'm a computer engineer, not a mechanical engineer. :) Greg Gowins Driftwood, TX _______________________________________________ Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.html http://www.team.net/archive http://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/spridgets |
