One thing to talk to your agent about is that "most" homeowners
policies will NOT cover a car in your garage. They expect that a car
will be registered and insured under its own policy.
A friend found out the very expensive way that his "under restoration"
car was not insured because the home's policy covered. Some places
(Hagerty) sells a "restoration policy" so that your car is covered.
When dealing with insurance, don't ask us, ask your agent VERY SPECIFIC
questions.
