This ain't brain surgery!
Gas fumes ignite. No fumes, no ignition! Clean out the tank with whatever
you like, then wash it out with as much soapy water as it takes to leave NO
scent of gasoline. Then wash it out again. Weld away to your heart's
content. When I don't want to take all that time washing out the dregs, I
just do what needs doing with solder. (electric iron, NOT flame!)
