Ok that's the third reference to those numbers in the last week, and
at least the 2nd different citation of their origin.
First of all, 516 POUNDS?!?! Do they mean FOOT POUNDS OF TORQUE?!
hell you'ld rip anything on a Bugeye free of it's mounting/body with
3/4 of that. 500 ft lbs of torque you could rotate the engine, ripping
it free of it's motor mounts *IF* you could figure a way to attach to
the engine that wouldn't rip free! I find it hard to believe that ATF
will reduce the load by close to 95% but I didn't believe that the
Capt. wold ever part with his Bugeye so there ya go..
