Actually, Jim, with a small-block Chevy, the correct way to do it was
to gut a tired old distributor, grind the teeth off the gear at the
bottom and chuck the whole thing into your 1/2" drill. That way the
shaft of the distributor properly blocked all the right stuff inside
and allowed for the oil to REALLY travel throughout the engine. You
don't know how often I have wished for that feature on an A-Series...
