[Spridgets] Hood interchangeability between years

Will a hood from a later CB Midget fit a '65 Sprite?  Dave G's '65 EBay Sprite
has an ill fitting hood and I have a line on a free one for him that is from
either a '69 or '74 Midget.  My knowledge of parts interchangeability is from
the catalogs, and Moss shows the only difference in the hood being a change in
mid '76 (excluding Bugeyes).  Is this true for OEM hood or just the
replacement ones the catalogs sell?
