Well, someone got this one right some time ago, but the suggestion was so
remote that I ignored it. My clutch doesn't work because the release lever
pivot bolt is either broken or unattached, so the lever just waves around in
the air. As the correct diagnosis (??Westlake??) pointed out, it will,
amazingly, work that way - sort of.
I will not be out again before it snows. I guess I was lucky to drive 1-2
miles this week before it crapped out completely.
