Hi Folks,
Went out this morning (4 pm now) to recheck the tune up and do some
minor - so I thought - fuel air adjustments.
Valves OK
Plugs OK
Pentronix ignition
Timing OK
Float level OK
Dash Pot Oil OK
Fuel Air mixture NOT OK
I went back to ground zero backing the jets off 12 flats. Lifting
the front piston 1 mm engine speeds up - - back up two flats and it
is OK. Lifting the rear piston and the engine stops. Have open it
rear jet eight flats and it is only slightly better. This does not
seem right. Am currently about brain dead, frustrated and if I do
not get it up and going will miss SD British Car Day tomorrow. I use
to do all of this in about two hours.
