It slips over the line and gets compressed by the nut?? Not me--- the brass 
one!!

If I very carefully take off the rubber cap on the clutch side of the dual 
master, 
will I be able to see and measure the bore??
Because, now I don't know what the heck I've got on this beast   ;-((
