Slowly working my way through the beast...
Running the motor at around 1000 rpm, I notice a fluttering of the tach
needle and gas gauge needle\ and the motor seems to occasionally have a
small stumble..
Checking the voltage at the back of the generator ('65 with 1275 motor) I
can see the voltage is erratic, rapidly varying roughly between 13.10V to
13.48V .
Do I need to replace the genny??
Suggestions as to what I need to check would be helpful...
