Afterthoughts,

It was a pleasure having Bob Kitterer visit. He made excellent time up from
LA and arrived in Davis just after noon on Friday. We were able to finish
assembling the trailer and load the Sprite before sundown and then went off to
a much deserved dinner. Settled in for the evening and we watched the Olympic
opening ceremonies together until near midnight. Bob was up and off early
Saturday morning and I got a shot of his rig turning the first corner on its
long journey (yes, I'll post it to Ed, Larry and whomever else later).

I agree with Bob that the trailer is at its weight limit and it will benefit
GREATLY from having the engine/trans removed ASAP. If you ever considered
getting a trailer like this one for a fully built Sprite, reconsider.

I'd like to personally thank Bob for the huge contribution of his time and
money on this crucial long first leg.

(Yes, the Morris pickup frame was set on jackstands in place of the Holy
Spirite about 1/2 hour after Bob pulled away)
