You guys don't put timing pointers on your engines?
Just cut one out of sheet metal and put it under one of the bolts on the
timing cover. Then put a mark on the flywheel next to it.
If you really have time on your hands, use a dial gauge to find exact TDC
instead of just using the factory marks.
