My guess is that today you will not get the same type of performance
because of the difference in the gas. I am not sure if even the
octane boosters would really help. The only way I can think of to
do an valid performance check today would be to do a dyno tune up of
the car prior to installing the Judson and then after the Judson was
installed.
There is an article by Brian Thornton in the June issue of "Healey
Marque" (AHCA magazine) where he did acceleration test prior to and
after installing a Judson and compared that to Judsons advertised
times. His times were slower than those advertised and he improved
his stock vs blower times by about 10%. This was not done on a test
track or with timing lights however. Nice article and a nice car.
