Jim,
Even with crancase breather problems you are most unlikely to get "a trail
of oil". drips and overnight puddles, yes, but not a continuous trail when
on the move.
My guess is that there is something else amiss. Check the rubber pressure
tube to the oil pressure gauge where it fits to the block attachment just
behind the dizzy. My guess is that it is leaking around there - it may have
got knocked when adjusting the dizzy.

Started for home and about a mile away, it died at a traffic
light and refused to start again. I rolled it into a parking spot and called
Carolyn to come get me with the tow bar. There was a trail of oil from the
traffic light to where it stopped. $hit!!
Guess I will pull the pertronix and put the points back in. Obviously there
is still too much crankcase pressure so I'll still have to work on that too.
