the best place to look if for another tach!...
really, i went thru 3 or four before i got on that's almost
good.... mine that works is heat sensitive.. that is, i reads one
rpm/mph in the morning, and a different one in the afternoon,
or when its warmed up.... that little hole that Frank C.
mentions.. i sometimes actually adjust as i drive with a little
screwdriver under the dash... even been thinking of a spot of
super glue on it...but i'd probably be better off actually
sending the tach out to get it fixed..........
