I think I solved my no cruise problem.
I called their tech support, the guy I spoke to was an MG owner in his
past life. Anyway, he told me to ground the brake light switch lead and
test it. It worked, not for long but it worked. Now I just have to work
out the bugs and get to a highway with no traffic lights.
Apparently with brit car stop lamps grounding via the body, the cruise
measures the resistance and thinks the brake lamps are on. So it works
but it does not shut off when I hit the brakes.
I will run ground wires directly to the tail lamps.
My brake lights work fine but when I grounded the brake light wire, the
cruise worked.
I will test it more tomorrow.
