I have this one, and it allows me to get the saddle under the rear diff, and
still be able to move the handle to raise it. I have even used this to raise
the rear of the car, AFTER I have put the front up on ramps. When I remove
or replace the drive train, I put the front on ramps, and the rear on jack
stands. For the general hobbyist, this has worked out well for me. I have
had it over 2 years, and it is still working well for me. It may not live
long in a professional garage, but it's alright by me.
FWIW, I did get the extended warranty. The jack was originally touted as
going to full lift in two pumps. My first one didn't, so I took it back. Now
they say it reaches full lift in 6 pumps, which is more like it. Other than
that, it has worked very well.
