Start cheapest or easiest to fix.
I will guess you have a weak link in your starter circuit, like the key
switch or starter button (not sure which you might have.) .bill

Next question for me on a 66 Sprite-- the starter wouldn't turn over the
other day, but without doing anything except trying to jump start it,
which didn't work, the next day it started right up. Do I have a "dead
spot" on the starter? If so, how do I fix it.
