To set the toe in, take 2 straight edges, a piece of wood will do, run
it across each tire.
With the aid of a helper, measure the distance from straight edge to
straight edge behind the front tires, say it;s 50 inches.
Now measure across the front of the tires, it should be 49-7/8" for 1/8"
toe IN. 1/16 is fine too and some people run zero toe in. It should not
be more than 1/8"
To adjust the toe in, loosen the large nut on each tie rod end.
Loosen the clamp on the rack boot, turn the rod (not the tie rod end) in
or out until you have 1/8" less in front of the wheels than you have
behind the wheels.
Please note that each tie rod end should be equal, and they seem to
average 15 full turns on. So 25 full turns on one side and 5 on the
other will give you the proper toe in but you don't want that. Keep the
tie rod ends fairly equal give or take a turn.
