I've rebuilt a number of engines over the years, including a 948. BUT...
I'm about to replace the timing gears & chain on one of mine & I see the cam
gear comes with rubber "tensioner rings." I don't see any way to mount
these rings on the new cam gear & the previous gear certainly doesn't have
any. Anyone able to tell me what the story is on these?
