I had an accident in my Sprite I bit like that. After the car was taken off
the flat bed and put in my garage before my wife found out (I told her 2 weeks
later) I cleared out the rear light unit parts in the boot. Turned out a lot
of the bits of orange and red plastic was debris from someone else's accident
on the same spot.
