I could have used both of you guys this past weekend at Grattan. It was
the weekend form hell! The only thing that didn't stop working was the
water pump. In three days, I never went out on the track once that I
didn't pull into the pits the first time around with a miss, or a
sputter, or a cylinder not firing. That's what you get when you have a
pretty good 10-year streak (minus some years that included a couple of
holed pistons, a spun bearing, a rollover and a tee-bone nudge during a
real estate dispute).
I'm ready to trade up to a Trabant.

Frank and his too lovely wife Diane are in transit back to Joisey
from whence they came late last week.
We WERE in the midst of a nice drought, until they showed up.
Now we've had several feet of rain since Saturday when we began our
walking tour of Westconsin.
Frank always blames PennsylRainia for the wet conditions at Carlisle
every year.
Methinks it is They who should be blaming him.
Anyway, we had a very pleasant visit with them both. Didn't talk
about cars too much.
Frank, I hope the return trip was uneventful. You all are welcome any
time.
Peter C.
