[Spridgets] Engine color??

Can any one tell me what vehicle a fire engine red 1275 may have come out 
of???
I found a few photos under the trunk carpet... the engine shown on the hoist 
is red, the engine in the car is green and doesn''t have the correct number 
for a Spridget...
