I never had them apart. I have no problem taking it off, but I have no idea
how to align it back up if I do, even when reading the Bentley book. Is it
tough?
I had an old motorcycle that did this once, but figured this was a little
more involved considering the rear end and all.

If you did not have the pressure plate off when the tranny was out the
chances are preaty good.
