I agree with Paul. This was common in the 60's to have a car that was made in
58 and not sold till 60 or 61. I have a Morris that Paul told me he though the
production date was 58. But the car is registered as a 61. I had several BMW
air cooled cars that this was the case too. Even today you can buy a 07 in 06
so the car was made in 06 or even possibly some of the parts in 05 or earlier.
