I have several trophies from car shows for my Bugeye. What I do is to get
out the baby diapers that have been washed hundreds of times to make them
softer. Make sure you don't use a softener sheet when drying them. It
leaves a film on the diaper that comes out on your finish. My son and I
spray a mist of Dri Wash n Gaurd waterless car wash on the car when we
arrive and polish it off with the baby diaper. I swear it looks like I
just waxed the car. It only takes 10-15 minutes to do. In fact my 7 year
old restoration has never seen water from rain or a car wash in all these
years. Once again, no financial interest, just a very satisfied customer.
