On the Bugeye steering column there is an upper and lower felt bush between the inner column and outer piece. Should these be lubed with oil before assembly? The older lower bush had a hole in it. Anyone know why? Does anyone have a copy or a link for the steering wheel restoration information. The steering column shroud came up pretty good with some 4 - O steel wool and oil. Any way to bring up the shine? Thanks. Phil Nase Quakertown, PA http://home.comcast.net/~philnasecpa |
