Running a Midget on LPG??

Listers,

Has anyone converted or thought of converting a Midget to run on LPG? If so,
what were the conclusions.

I am wondering because I am considering relocating and I would like to take
my 71. However, premium gasoline is just that "a premium" here.  Most cars
are either converted to LPG or are diesel.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
