Thinking about the Bugeye bonnet rubber, I think the cars did come with a rubber strip on the cowl. Most that I have restored although did NOT have the rubber by the time I got them, they did have rust holes in the channel. The type of rust is usually caused by trapped water. No water could get trapped in that channel unless it had a rubber strip in it. -- Frank Clarici Toms River, NJ |
