Ok, so i ran out of gas in the Bugeye yesterday, 1/2 block from
home. This is because I installed a sending unit in the fuel tank
and I believed it. What I now know is that "empty" is 1/4 tank on
the gauge and "full" is 1/2 tank on the gauge.
So, to adjust this thing I see two possibilities:
1. Drop tank and hook up wiring and fiddle with float position / rod
position / sending unit position until I get it right or
2. Wait until it gets low again and put in a resistor so that I know
when the tank is REALY empty and just ignore the full part of things.
What say you?
