A really cheap way to check it out, is to install a new filter, filled
first, and 3 or 4 qts of 20-50. Crank til oil pressure, then start it. If
it's toasted, at least you've got clean oil everywhere! Might be OK, too
Just depends on how soon it was shut down after oil loss.
