Someone gave my son a used HF one about 15 years ago.  As kids will do 
in modifying their vehicles, he used it constantly with his Toyota pick 
up.  About six years ago, he found he had no place to work on his cars, 
so it is in my garage and we both use it.  Never had a problem.  But of 
course, it was well over 15 years old, and who knows where it was made then.
