Subject: List Related but No LBC
I have a question for the real computer geeks on this list. My mail host
has implemented a new anti spam filter that sends me a list of what it
thinks is spam every day. For the most part it works great but I am getting
some of the spridgets list tagged with the following message:
(VIRUS) Re: Things come back

Description: Outlook "CR" vulnerability
This message was deleted and cannot be retrieved.

As you see the filter is seeing this as a virus and permanently deleting it.
I have searched for the "Outlook "CR" vulnerability" and see that it is a
formatting issue with email but don't understand how these messages can pass
through the spridgets list server. And, are they really a virus or just are
formatted in such a way that a virus could be inserted? I see it from
several of the regular contributors to the list and as you see they are
"deleted and cannot be retrieved".
Thanks,
Mark
