The Judsons are cool. But, they are old school technology. ANY
supercharger will change an A-series motor's dynamics. Proper tuning
includes modification of the advance curve, which is already a wacky
variable with the A-series. The Judsons can be made to work. But,
they only give moderate power increases. The inherent friction causes
heat which cancels out part of the supercharger effect. I'd like to
see what happens if you line the case of the Judson with Ceramic and
run Delrin vanes. Or, sleeve the Aluminum case with something harder
and try Ceramic vanes. Or, line the case with Teflon.
